- Used as a temporary replacement for a Provox HME Cassette while taking a shower.
- Having a deep stoma.
- Using an automatic tracheostoma valve (Provox FreeHands HME)
- Provox XtraBase may improve stoma attachment in many other cases where firm skin contact is desired.
